Beltran De Montauzon
.Following his first visit to Mexico age four, Beltrán de Montauzon (1998, French, Spanish) knew he wanted to be an architect. Constant and steady exposure to the world, traveling art, culture allowed his perception to broaden and deepen. An understanding of space, beauty and well-being informed and nourished by a broad sweep of sources.
After completing his Masters in Architecture, Montauzon spent a year collaborating with Isabelle Stanislas before founding his own studio in 2023, driven by the urge to materialize his ideas.
No scale, category or place is fixed, the studio pushes each in countless directions. Navigating a realm between architecture and functional art, where matter and shape are the common denominators of Beltran’s practice. By properly understanding the relationship between these two elements, delicate perspectives and carefully orchestrated perceptions are brought to fruition.
